1. 100% Local In-Browser Processing Guarantee

QueryEdge is built as a client-side WebAssembly application powered by DuckDB-Wasm.

• Zero Data Uploads: When you drag, drop, or select log files (CSV, TSV, JSON, JSONL, Parquet, or TXT), your files remain strictly inside your device's browser memory.
• No External Storage: Log data is parsed, executed, filtered, and visualized entirely on your local CPU/GPU using WebAssembly. No log content, schema, or SQL query is ever sent to, stored on, or transmitted through QueryEdge servers or third-party cloud infrastructure.
• Air-Gapped Safety: You can disconnect from the internet after loading the application and continue parsing your log files offline.

2. Telemetry and Privacy-Focused Analytics

We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or profile our users. To ensure website stability, monitor bandwidth usage, and identify runtime software errors, we use privacy-first analytics tools:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate metrics like page views and browser types. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not track individual user identities, does not use client-side state (like cookies or localStorage) for tracking, and does not collect PII.

3. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

QueryEdge may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to support the ongoing development of our free log analysis tools.

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on QueryEdge.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to QueryEdge and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or by visiting aboutads.info.

4. Local Storage Usage

QueryEdge utilizes your browser's standard localStorage solely for storing client-side user preferences (such as saved custom SQL query templates). This data remains strictly stored on your local browser profile and is never sent to external servers.
